September 30, 2024

The Mosaic Company (NYSE: MOS) today announced $300,000 in contributions to organizations that are assisting our Florida operating communities with impacts from Hurricane Helene. These funds will help with safety and shelter, food and other supplies, long-term recovery and cleanup efforts.

The Mosaic Company Foundation also will provide additional contributions by matching employee and community donations made through the Mosaic Employee Giving Program (MEGP). Employee donations up to the $2,000 annual limit per employee will be double matched to all qualifying organizations and triple matched to disaster relief organizations. Community donations up to $200,000 made through an external community impact portal on the MEGP will be matched.

Mosaic is also working with community partners in Hillsborough and Manatee Counties to coordinate Mosaic Cares Day volunteer events as opportunities for Mosaic employees and family members in Florida to help those impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Mosaic employees most impacted by the storm can apply for assistance from Mosaic’s Employee-to-Employee Assistance Fund, which provides financial support for North America employees impacted by declared natural disasters.

Headquartered in Tampa, Mosaic supplies crop nutrition products to the global agriculture industry. Mosaic also has other offices and phosphate production facilities in Florida. "Florida is home to nearly 3,000 Mosaic employees and their families, and our thoughts are with them and our neighbors across the state and the Southeast as they recover from Hurricane Helene," said Bruce Bodine, President and CEO for The Mosaic Company.
