The Mosaic Company and Tampa Bay Rays partner to fight food insecurity with “Runs for Food” initiative.

TAMPA, FL, May 19, 2025 – The Mosaic Company is proud to announce a new partnership with the Tampa Bay Rays to launch “Runs for Food,” a four-year initiative aimed at combating food insecurity in the Tampa Bay region. As part of the program, Mosaic will donate $500 for every run scored at home by a Rays player to local Meals on Wheels organizations, including:

• Meals on Wheels of Tampa
• Meals on Wheels of Charlotte County
• Meals on Wheels of Polk County
• Meals on Wheels of Manatee and
• Meals on Wheels of Pinellas (a program of Neighborly Senior Care Network).

This partnership marks Mosaic’s third collaboration with a major Tampa Bay sports team, joining its existing initiatives: Goals for Food with the Tampa Bay Lightning (NHL), which began in 2012, and Tackling Hunger with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFL), which began in 2021.

The Tampa Bay Rays, who kicked off their season on March 28, are excited to bring fans together in support of this important cause.

Meals on Wheels delivers meals to individuals, primarily senior citizens, who have difficulty accessing or preparing their own meals.
